Los Altos real estate sales numbers are in for the month of May and by all accounts, properties are moving well. 41 properties closed escrow in May ranging from a 3 bedroom 2 bath home which sold for $1,225,000. to a large newly built 6 bedroom 4+ bath home, which sold for $3,999,950.
May sales have consistently hovered around the 40 unit range since 2000 and this year is no different. Please note, the average escrow length hovers around 30 days, so the contracts on these properties were ratified in late March and early April.
