Get Rid Of Your Old Computers, Televisions, Cell Phones And Other Electronics This Weekend!

January 2nd, 2008 · No Comments

Is that old black and white T.V. collecting dust?  Do you still have your first cell phone and charger?  Is your old C.P.U. performing better as a doorstop than a computer?  Why not get rid of your old electronics and help restore a portion of Hale Creek in Los Altos.  The First Baptist Church of Los Altos is holding its second e-waste drop off on Friday January 4th and Saturday January 5th, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  The program is free and the hope is to use the proceeds from these efforts to restore the deep channel erosion that is occurring on Hale creek.

Items that will be excepted are:  Televisions, Computer monitors, computers (CPUs), laptops, keyboards, printers, mice, hard drives, fax machines, microwave ovens, DVD players, VCRs, cables and cards, telephones, cell phones, radios, shredders, stereo components, power supplies, tape and disk drives, oscilloscopes, PC boards, lab equipment, loose PCBAs, optical drives.
